Nottingham Forest striker Nicklas Bendtner has not played for the club since the 2-0 defeat against Leeds United in the Championship on January 25th.
He has been out of action since then with a hamstring problem, as he continues to struggle in his attempts to get a dwindling career back on track.
But it appears he is on the comeback trail.
He posted this message on his Instagram page, highlighting his return to first-team training at the club.
However, a lot has changed since he last featured for Forest.
Garry Brazil is in charge at the club, who have also brought in Ross McCormack on loan.

Then there is the emergence of Ben Brereton. The 17-year-old’s excellent form with the under-21s was finally rewarded in that very last fixture for Bendtner and he has gone on to score two goals for the club in seven appearances and become a permanent first-team fixture.
The Dane has struggled to find his form since making the move to the City Ground, with fitness not helping his form.
He now faces an uphill battle for game time after his return to training.
