Nottingham Forest should attempt to do a deal for Saido Berahino, who is available on loan from Stoke City.

Forest are known to be on the hunt for new additions up-front, and Berahino could be a valuable asset at the City Ground – if Aitor Karanka can get him back to his best.
Berahino has not scored a goal for over two years at Stoke, and clearly needs a move away from the BET365 Stadium.

And a fresh start at Forest could be just what the 24-year-old needs to regain confidence.
Berahino’s attitude has come into question of late, but his talent has been there for all to see.
The Burundi-born striker netted 14 Premier League goals during the 2014/15 campaign, and if Forest could get him back to that sort of level then he would be one of the most deadly forwards in the Championship.

With Stoke being willing to loan Berahino out, there is relatively no risk for Forest in bringing the striker in, but the reward could be great.
And Karanka should seriously consider snapping up the Potters’ front-man, to bolster his forward options for next season.
