Nottingham Forest midfielder Ryan Yates has impressed while out on loan this season.

Ryan Yates may just be the man at Nottingham Forest to replace Kieran Dowell next season.
Dowell has made a positive impression at Forest, after spending the season on loan at the City Ground from Everton.
Although the youngster’s form has dropped on occasion, he has still shown his quality, and confirmed that he has a very bright future.

Forest are likely to need to find a replacement for his quality next season, but they may not have to look too far.
Yates’ form on loan at Scunthorpe United and Notts County this season should be highly encouraging for the Reds.

The youngster has looked the part in both League One and League Two, with his performances catching the eye.
Yates would, of course, be making a big step up by playing in Forest’s team, but he looks ready to be called upon.
And Forest shouldn’t worry too much about the departure of Dowell, as they look like they already have a ready-made replacement within their ranks.
