Silas Wamangituka could be heading to the Premier League with Liverpool after being watched by Nottingham Forest.

Back in January, Nottingham Forest fans would have been flocking to Wikipedia in their droves when reports from Telefoot linked them with a little-known striker by the name of Silas Wamangituka.
Telefoot claimed that Forest had sent scouts to watch the Paris FC starlet in action ahead of a potential shock move to the City Ground. But have they missed their chance? Quite possibly.
Because, with all due respect to Martin O’Neill’s side, why would he join Nottingham Forest with Liverpool entering the race? According to Le Parisien, Jurgen Klopp’s Premier League leaders have joined the race for Wamangituka as interest in the 19-year-old rises across the continent.
Wamangituka has scored seven times in a superb breakthrough season in Ligue 2 with Le Parisien claiming he is the ‘revelation’ of the French second tier.

The DR Congo striker, who stands at 6ft 2ins and blends technique with fearsome physical attributes, signed a three-year contract back in October but Paris FC could be forced to accept a fee of around £4 million.
“Of course there are very big clubs (interested) but we manage all this quietly, without pressure, otherwise we do not sleep at night,” said his agent Olivier Belesi. “Silas has the potential and the qualities to go higher.”
Maybe Nottingham Forest should have struck while the iron was hot.
