Hull City are interested in signing Nottingham Forest midfielder Ryan Yates in January.

Nottingham Forest should take the opportunity to let Ryan Yates join Hull City on loan in January.
Aitor Karanka decided to keep Yates at the City Ground over the summer, as he felt a loan move to Rotherham United wouldn’t benefit the midfielder.
But a temporary switch to Hull could be perfect for all parties involved.
Yates would help to strengthen Hull’s midfield options, and it would also give him a chance to prove that he can perform at Championship level.

Forest have been busy in the transfer market, and they have recently brought in Claudio Yacob and Panagiotis Tachtsidis.
Yacob’s and Tachtsidis’s arrivals just put two more obstacles in the way of Yates’ route into Karanka’s first-team.
And Forest should now allow Yates to go out and gain some first-team experience, as he is simply too good to be sitting on their bench.
