Nottingham Forest fans were left with a bitter taste in their mouth on Tuesday night as their efforts at West Bromwich Albion yielded just one point following a controversial end-of-game moment at The Hawthorns.

However, one positive from the Championship game was the display of Ryan Yates, who has delivered another superb performance for the Reds and was awarded with his second Man of the Match award on only his second start.

The 21-year-old played a big role in the visitors’ opener in the West Midlands as his early effort was deflected into the Baggies’ own net by defender Stefan Johansen, and even though Jacob Murphy subsequently equalised, Yates struck back with a goal of his own.
