You wonder how Nottingham Forest will look at this turn of events.

It was Forest who were linked with Petrovic in July.

On July 30, 2023, The Athletic reported that New England turned down offers from Forest and French club FC Nantes for Petrovic.

The Reds have since signed USA international goalkeeper Matt Turner from Arsenal.

Petrovic is 23 now and is rated very highly.

Manchester United and Liverpool have been linked with the Serbian star.

Roberto Sanchez is the number one goalkeeper at Chelsea at the moment after Kepa left for Real Madrid this summer.

Petrovic could fancy a move to Chelsea.

After all, the Blues are one of the biggest clubs in the world and are a global brand.

And there is a chance that Petrovic could become the number one goalkeeper for Chelsea.
