Nottingham Forest are now competing with West Ham United for Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope, according to The Sun.
The Daily Mail reported in April that David Moyes’s West Ham are interested in signing Pope from Burnley in the summer transfer window.
The Hammers are reportedly looking at the goalkeeper as a possible replacement for Alphonse Areola if his loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain is not made permanent.
The Sun are now reporting that Nottingham Forest, who will play in the Premier League after winning promotion from the Championship, have joined the race for the English goalkeeper, who earns £59,000 per week (SalarySport) at Burnley.
Fulham are also showing interest in Pope, according to the report.
Forest are reportedly ready to make a low bid, but Burnley want £40 million for Pope.

Nottingham Forest and West Ham United are not going to pay £40m for Nick Pope
In our view, Nottingham Forest and West Ham United are not going to pay £40 million for Nick Pope.
No way.
Burnley have been relegated from the Premier League, and Forest and West Ham will surely not want to pay £40 million for a player who will feature in the Championship next season.
Pope, though, would be a good signing for Forest or West Ham.
The Englishman is at the top of his game at 30 and is hugely experienced.
Pope has made 141 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career, keeping 46 clean sheets in the process.
