Nottingham Forest midfielder Ben Osborn should jump at chance to join Newcastle United.
Newcastle United are showing interest in Nottingham Forest midfielder Ben Osborn, according to the Nottingham Post.
Osborn, 22, is one of a number of Forest players linked with departing the City Ground in recent weeks, with the team in freefall.

The talented midfielder is one of the few Forest players to show passion, on and off the pitch with his comments, and while his focus will be entirely on his current club, a change of scenery could do him the world of good.
Osborn should not be actively looking to move on, but the chance to join Newcastle is too good to resist, even for a player who has come through the club’s academy, if a firm offer comes in.
Forest are dropping like a stone towards the relegation zone, while Newcastle are battling to win promotion.
There is the obvious temptation of working under renowned manager Rafa Benitez, and if the Spaniard wants him now, then he will be planning on using him in the Premier League next season should the Toon be successful in their goal to bounce back to the top flight.

Even if Forest survive this season, Osborn may have to wait a long time for an opportunity to play Premier League football comes along.
Newcastle are strong favourites to go up, and helping them do it would be a great achievement for a young player like Osborn to play a part in, and help his career go to the next level.
