The City Ground academy ace is developing into a real gem at the League One Imps – which bodes very well for the Reds contingent and fans.

Nottingham Forest academy graduate Tyler Walker continues to go from strength to strength, following up his prolific Mansfield Town loan spell last term with a stint at League One side Lincoln City which is also progressing nicely.
The 22-year-old, who is on a season-long loan at Sincil Bank from the City Ground, netted in the 86th minute to salvage a 1-1 draw awat at Rochdale on Tuesday night, cancelling out Stephen Dooley’s opener at Spotland.
Walker now has five goals and one assist in nine League One games this season (Whoscored), putting him joint-third in the division’s top scorers table, behind Peterborough United duo Ivan Toney and Mohamed Eisa (BBC Sport).

Walker’s Mansfield stint was a resounding success as he netted 22 goals in 44 regular-season League Two appearances, with an additional four goals in the cup competitions taking his overall tally to 26 goals plus four assists, according to Transfermarkt.
With a virtually seamless step up to League One this time round and continued progress, it bodes well for his City Ground future – and given Forest are currently having some issues up front, could the hierarchy and coaches decide to give him a first-team shot in the Garibaldi red as soon as January?
