Nottingham Forest striker Jason Cummings scored six goals in his first five games for Peterborough United.

Nottingham Forest loanee Jason Cummings has been demoted to playing for Peterborough United’s reserve team.
Posh’s reserves were in action today, and a large quantity of the players who did not feature for Steve Evans’ side first-team at the weekend were forced to play in the contest.
Cummings was an unused substitute on Saturday, as Peterborough beat Burton 2-1.
And the Forest loanee has now had to drop down to Posh’s reserve team to ensure that he stays match fit.
Evans does like to give senior players minutes in his reserve team, so the demotion is not as big a shock as it might have been at another club.

But it does signify how far downhill things have gone for the Forest man since his blistering start at Posh.
Cummings netted six goals in his first five games for Peterborough, but he has not scored since, and now appears to be behind Ivan Toney and Matt Godden in the pecking order for places at the Abax Stadium.
