Erlandsson stated:

“There’s stuff going on. I check for a solution primarily up to the summer’s (Under-21) European Championship finals. I have contacted my agent and it is he who manages it. I want the most focus on the here and now.

“To come home to Sweden? Home has everything, but like I said, it’s nothing that’s clear.”

It was reported earlier this week by Fotball Skanalen that AFC Eskiltuna, who were recently promoted to the top-flight in Sweden for the first time in their history.

Erlandsson’s agent confirmed he wanted to find first-team football, as he remains down the pecking order at Nottingham Forest.

Eskiltuna’s previous first-choice keeper, American stopper Josh Wicks, has left the club and the Sweden under-21 international is considered a top target for the club.

Erlandsson joined Nottingham Forest from Halmstads in 2015 and is highly-rated in his homeland. He recently had a short spell on loan at Barrow and went to the Olympic Games with Sweden in Brazil last summer.

Some Forest fans have been calling on Montanier to give the young Swede a chance in the first-team – due to Vladimir Stojkovic’s poor form and the limited ability of Stephen Henderson.

But it seems the Swedish talent will instead be heading elsewhere.
