Nicklas Bendtner is finding his form again in Norwegian football.
Nottingham Forest’s Nicklas Bendtner
Nottingham Forest made plenty of new signings this season, many of which failed to deliver. Perhaps the most high profile flop of the lot was former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.
He may have flopped at Nottingham Forest but one of Bendtner’s new team-mates has made it clear the Dane is not the dud people think he is.
Australian left-back Alex Gersbach has been talking to Goal this week about his career in Norway and how Bendtner is paramount to his club’s chances of European success.
He had this to say about the former Forest star:

“Bendtner’s the best player I’ve played with.
“The media made a big splash about [him when he signed] and so they should. He’s a top-class player and you can see at training and during the games that he’s played at a high level.”
The Dane scored just twice in 17 games after joining in September 2016, and was released from his deal at the club in March, joining Rosenborg in Norway on a three-year deal.

But despite his previous struggles at the City Ground, it appears that the striker is finding his best form once again.
He has gone on to score three goals in nine games for his new team and is already proving a hit among the Rosenborg faithful.
Forest will be hoping that, in the long run, they do not find themselves rueing the way Bendtner left the club.
