Whether Forest would have the finances to fund a move for Costa remains to be seen.
The Wolves man has previously been a big threat at Championship level, although his confidence appears to have been drained more recently.
Costa has struggled to break into Nuno’s side this term, and Forest would have to get him back to his best, if he was to impact on their starting line-up.
O’Neill has already suggested that he wants to make additions at Forest this summer, but it is questionable whether Costa would fit the Irish boss’s system.
