Joe Worrall is on loan at Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers from Nottingham Forest.

Joe Worrall of Rangers looks on prior to the UEFA Europa League Group G match between Rangers and Villarreal CF at Ibrox Stadium on November 29, 2018 in Glasgow, United Kingdom.

Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter want their club to recall Joe Worrall from his season-long loan at Rangers.

The Reds have something of a headache at the moment and the Rangers centre-back is badly needed at the moment.

Michael Dawson limped off in Saturday’s 2-0 win and if his injury is serious, it’s bad news for Nottingham Forest.

Aitor Karanka already has Danny Fox sidelined and Tobias Figueiredo is banned for the next two matches after picking up a three-match suspension.

It remains to be seen whether he can be recalled from Rangers, but some fans of the City Ground club are certainly hoping that he can.

Here is their reaction to Dawson’s potential injury:

Fans of the Ibrox club would have been dreaming about Worrall leaving just a few weeks ago, but the 21-year-old has hardly been a roaring success for the Gers.

But he did look decent on Thursday as Rangers held Villarreal to a 0-0 draw in the Europa League.

He has looked shaky – very shaky at times, in fact – but maybe his midweek performance will give him the confidence needed to kick on in Scotland, but will he get the chance? Time will tell.
