Nottingham Forest feel that Martin O’Neill should move to attempt to sign Jack Marriott from Derby County this summer.

Some Nottingham Forest fans want Jack Marriott signed from Derby County following their failure to earn promotion.
Forest almost snapped up Marriott last summer, with the striker said to have his heart set on a move to the City Ground by Barry Fry (Nottingham Post), before he eventually moved to Derby for £5 million (Sky Sports).
The rapid forward has enjoyed an excellent first season at Pride Park, although Frank Lampard’s reluctance to start him towards the back end of the season was confusing.
Derby lost the play off final 2-1 yesterday, with Marriott once again on the bench.
The striker came on and made a huge impact at Wembley, but it was too little too late for Derby.
And Forest fans now want Martin O’Neill to snap up Marriott and bring him to the City Ground this summer.
Marriott scored seven goals in 33 Championship matches for Derby over the past campaign.
Forest already have Lewis Grabban and Daryl Murphy at the club, but are expected to look to buy another striker in the summer transfer window, with O’Neill having funds to spend.
