The Reds have brought the Mali defensive midfielder to the City Ground from Dynamo Moscow.

A number of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the signing of Mali international midfielder Samba Sow from Dynamo Moscow (official Reds website).
The 30-year-old, who has won 36 caps for his country, has made the move to The City Ground from the Russian Premier League side for an undisclosed fee, penning a two-year contract with the Reds.
Sow leaves Russia after two seasons and 42 club appearances, having joined Dynamo from Turkish club Kayserispor, and prior to that he played for Karabukspor and Lens, the club where he came through the ranks.
Predominantly utilised as a defensive midfielder but also boasting experience further up the park as well as in central defence (Transfermarkt), Sow is likely to compete with the likes of Alfa Semedo and Ben Watson in Sabri Lamouchi’s Reds squad.
