The Reds goalkeeper is surplus to requirement at the City Ground with four other stoppers at Sabri Lamouchi’s disposal.

A number of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the news that goalkeeper Luke Steele has joined Millwall on loan until January (official Reds website).
The 34-year-old made seven appearances in all competitions last season for the Reds, having signed last summer on a two-year deal following his release by previous club Bristol City.
Millwall have decided to make a late move for a goalkeeper in the transfer window after Frank Fielding suffered an injury in the Lions’ opening Championship game against Preston North End last weekend.
With Forest bringing in Arijanet Muric on a season-long loan from Manchester City and Brice Samba joining for an undisclosed fee from Caen earlier this week, it pushed Steele further down the pecking order.
As head coach Sabri Lamouchi still has four goalkeepers at his disposal – Muric and Samba, plus Costel Pantilimon and Jordan Smith – some Trickies fans took to social media to joke about Steele’s temporary exit:
