Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter aren’t reacting well to Ben Osborn’s latest performance.
Martin O’Neill’s Reds side lost 2-0 at Birmingham City on Saturday, missing the chance to move two points adrift of the top six.
No Nottingham Forest player covered himself in much glory it has to be said, but the same might apply to Osborn.
The 24-year-old midfielder was forced to play in a left-back role at times and here’s how fans reacted to his all-round display:
It’s definitely worth noting that Osborn is not a natural left-back but, then again, he did play there at times in his youth career.
That being said, there is probably a reason as to why he was moved into midfield at some point and it might be because a defensive role just wasn’t for him.
But it’s still early days in O’Neill’s reign at the City Ground. It will take time before he figures out his best side.
Forest are 12th in the Championship and five points behind the playoff spots as it stands.
