Nottingham Forest won against Ipswich Town in the Championship at the weekend.

Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in his side’s success in retaining their Championship status for the 2017-18 campaign.
Forest got the better of Ipswich 3-0 at the City Ground in their final Championship game of the season on Sunday afternoon.
Assombalonga scored twice for the Reds, and Chris Cohen added a third to ascertain the club’s survival in the second tier of English football.

Forest have finished the season 21st in the league table with 51 points from 46 points and have escaped the drop to League One on goal difference.
It has been a hugely disappointing campaign for the Reds and the City Ground faithful, but at least they will get to play in the Championship next season.
Assombalonga has taken to Twitter to express his delight at Forest’s success in avoiding relegation to League One, with the club’s fans responding to his message on the social networking site.
