Nottingham Forest boss Aitor Karanka is known to be looking for additions in January.

Nottingham Forest fans believe that there’s a chance they could move for Yaya Toure, following the termination of his contract at Olympiacos.

Forest do, of course, have links with Olympiacos as they share the same owner in Evangelos Marinakis.

Forest have already bought players from the Greek club this season, and there are some Reds fans who now think that Toure’s arrival at the City Ground could be imminent.

The powerful midfielder is currently a free agent again, after a short spell with Olympiacos.

And many Forest fans are dreaming of seeing Toure at the City Ground over the second half of the season.

If Toure was to arrive at Forest the transfer would definitely raise eye brows.

However, Aitor Karanka’s side are already well stocked in midfield and may feel that they have other areas in their team which need strengthening more.
