Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of West Ham United-owned Sam Byram against Sheffield United.
Byram, signed on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club West Ham in the summer of 2018, was in action for Forest in their Championship game against United away from home at Bramall Lane on Friday afternoon.
The 25-year-old former Leeds United right-back started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Reds lost 2-0.
The right-back did get forward at times, and defensively, he also tried his best, but there was the feeling that he could have done more.
Against United at Bramall Lane on Friday afternoon, Byram took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 81.4%, won three headers, made two tackles and two clearances, and played one key pass, according to WhoScored.
The West Ham-owned right-back has made four appearances in the Championship and has played two games in the League Cup for Forest this season, according to WhoScored.
