Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Tom Lockyer.

According to Bristol Live, Forest are interested in signing Lockyer on a free transfer this summer.

The 24-year-old defender is leaving Bristol Rovers this summer and will be available on a free transfer.

According to WhoScored, the Wales international defender made 40 appearances in League One for Rovers this season, scoring three goals in the process.

Disappointing season

Forest started the 2018-19 season with hope and optimism, but it ended on a disappointing note.

The Reds will be aiming to challenge for the Championship playoffs next season, and the City Ground faithful will hope that they sign some decent players in the summer transfer window in order to be successful in that quest.

Forest ended the 2018-19 Championship campaign in ninth place with 66 points from 46 matches, as many as eight points behind the playoffs.
