Nottingham Forest are reportedly interested in signing Tim Cahill in the January transfer window.

Nottingham Forest fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Tim Cahill in the January transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, Championship club Forest are interested in signing former Everton and Millwall striker Cahill on a free transfer.

Millwall are also claimed to be interested in the Australia international and are reported to have offered the 38-year-old a contract.

Cahill, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder, is without a club at the moment, having left A-League outfit Melbourne City in December 2017.

The Australian is a hugely experienced footballer who was a huge success during his time at Millwall and Everton.

The 38-year-old has also turned out for the New York Red Bulls, Shanghai Shenhua and Hangzhou Greentown so far in his career.

Forest fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Cahill on a free transfer in January.
