Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of West Ham United-owned Sam Byram against Bolton Wanderers at the weekend.

Byram featured for Forest in their Championship game against Bolton at the City Ground on Sunday afternoon.

The former Leeds United right-back started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Reds won 1-0.

The 25-year-old played well at the back for the Reds and also contributed in attack, as the right-back continued to show just how good he is when he is fully fit.

According to WhoScored, Byram took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 75.5%, won one header, made five tackles, one interception and two clearances, played two key passes, and put in one cross.

The right-back – signed on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club West Ham in the summer of 2018 – has only recently returned from injury and has six appearances in the Championship for the Reds, according to WhoScored.

Forest fans were impressed with the performance of Byram and have praised recent performances, and want the former Leeds star to be part of the team at the City Ground next season.
