Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Ryan Yates against Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon.
Yates featured for Forest in their Championship game against Ipswich away from home at Portman Road.
The 21-year-old midfielder started the match and played for 64 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.
The youngster did not have a good match and failed to impose himself in the middle of the park.
Although Yates worked hard and was willing to get stuck it, he simply failed to provide much in terms of driving the team forward.
According to WhoScored, against Ipswich on Saturday afternoon, the 21-year-old had a pass accuracy of 77.8%, won one header, took 38 touches, and made two tackles, one interception and one clearance.
So far this season, the midfielder has made eight starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for Forest, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.
Forest fans were not impressed with the performance of Yates against Ipswich and have criticised the midfielder on Twitter.
