Sheffield United are said to have made an offer for the Nottingham Forest midfielder.
Nottingham Forest supporters are reacting to reports linking Ben Osborn with a move to Sheffield United.
The Sun reports that Blades have offered £3 million for the Forest midfielder, who is in the final year of his contract on Trentside.
But the newspaper adds that Nottingham Forest could be seeking double that to part with Osborn, a veteran of well over 200 appearances for the club whose academy he progressed through.
Despite his home-grown status, Osborn has never been universally popular at Forest, however.
And a number of Reds fans would happily see the boyhood Derby fan – who once scored the winner against his side’s East Midlands rivals – sold to Sheffield United.
Others, though, would not be quite so keen.

Osborn, who is not yet 25, has covered a number of positions for Nottingham Forest, including central midfield and left-wing back as well as his favoured left-side midfield role.
And his versatility will no doubt appeal to the Sheffield United manager, Chris Wilder, who has vowed to stick with his adventurous attacking system in the Premier League.
