Former Nottingham Forest striker Patrick Bamford scored a hat-trick for Middlesbrough.

Patrick Bamford turned on the style against Leeds United on Friday evening, as the former Nottingham Forest forward scored a stunning hat-trick for Middlesbrough against Paul Heckingbottom’s side.
The 24-year-old former Chelsea prospect scored twice in the first half and once in the second period to guide Boro to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Leeds at the Riverside Stadium in the Championship.
It was one of the former England Under-21 international’s best performances for Boro since his move from Chelsea in January 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £5.5 million.

Bamford started his professional club football career at Forest and made just two appearances for the Reds’ first team before being snapped up by Chelsea in January 2012 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £1.5 million.
Some Forest fans were following the match between Middlesbrough and Leeds, and they were impressed with the performance of Bamford for Tony Pulis’s side, with one hoping that he knocks bitter rivals Derby County out of the Championship playoffs.
