Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Newcastle United-owned midfielder Jack Colback picking up a yellow card against Swansea City and have commenced on his performance.
Colback, on loan at Forest from Premier League club Newcastle, was in action for the Reds in their Championship game against Swansea at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon.
The 29-year-old midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Reds won 2-1.
The former Sunderland star worked hard in the middle of the pitch and did his best to drive Forest forward.
According to WhoScored, against the Swans, Colback took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 87.1%, made four tackles, one interception and one clearance, and played one key pass.
So far this season, the Newcastle-owned midfielder has made 34 appearances in the Championship for Forest, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
Colback, though, earned a yellow card against Swansea and has now picked up 14 cautions for the season, meaning that a suspension is due if he is shown a yellow card again.
