Nottingham Forest suffered another painful defeat in the Championship yesterday, as they were outdone by a solitary Conor Hourihane goal in a 1-0 loss against Barnsley at the City Ground.
The result leaves them perilously close to the relegation zone in the Championship and pressure continues to grow on manager Philippe Montanier – with the takeover delays not helping matters at the club.

Meanwhile, Forest fans had to watch from afar as a former loanee put their fierce rivals Derby County to the sword.
Last season Nelson Oliveira proved to be the main attacking threat for Forest under Dougie Freedman.
The on-loan Benfica man scored nine goals for the club, before his season ended in early March because of injury.

Forest did not pursue his signature in the summer and he ended up joining Championship rivals Norwich City.
Yesterday he showed what Forest might be missing out on. The Portuguese international scored a hat-trick as Norwich beat Derby 3-0 at Carrow Road.
It continued his fine form for the Canaries, the trio of strikes making it eight goals in his last 10 outings for the Norwich first-team.
