The new Reds manager hopes his former Republic of Ireland assistant will join him at the City Ground. Here is how some fans reacted.

Martin O’Neill has admitted that he hopes Roy Keane will join him at Nottingham Forest.
O’Neill, who played 371 games for the Reds and helped them win back-to-back European Cups in 10 years as a player, became the club’s manager on Tuesday.
The former Leicester, Celtic, Aston Villa and Republic of Ireland boss succeeded Aitor Karanka at the City Ground and is Forest’s 11th full-time manager since June 2011.
Keane, meanwhile, worked with the 66-year-old as his assistant manager during the five-year spell in charge of the Irish national side, which ended in November.
The former Republic international has managerial experience of his own, having held the reins at Sunderland and Ipswich Town.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s Championship clash with Bristol City, his first game in charge, O’Neill spoke highly of Keane.

“I would dearly like him to join, but as it happened very quickly he has a number to things to sort out,” the Northern Irishman is quoted by BBC Sport as saying.
“We have had some discussions and I would like him to join. There is a spot open for him. It may happen but he has number of things to consider personally and professionally.”
Here is what some Forest fans, taking to Twitter, thought about the prospect of Keane joining O’Neill at the club:
Forest are ninth in the Championship table, four points outside the playoff places, ahead of their meeting against the Robins at the City Ground on Saturday.
