Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Joao Carvalho against Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
Carvalho featured for Forest in their Championship match against Stoke away from home at the bet365 Stadium.
The 21-year-old midfielder did not start the game, but the youngster came on as a substitute in the 53rd minute, as the Reds lost 2-0.
The Portugal Under-21 international was at fault for Stoke’s second goal in the 74th minute.
According to WhoScored, the youngster took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 92.9%, and made two clearances.
Carvalho has been on the books of Forest since the summer of 2018 when he joined from Portuguese giants Benfica for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £13.2 million.
The 21-year-old midfielder has made 24 starts and five substitute appearances in the Championship for Forest so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Forest fans were not impressed with the performance of Carvalho and have criticised him on Twitter.
