Nottingham Forest boss Mark Warburton is on the brink of a £1 million signing.

The Daily Record have reported that Nottingham Forest are set to sign Hibernian striker Jason Cummings.
Forest boss Mark Warburton was repeatedly linked with the 21-year-old during his time at Rangers.
But it would appear that the ex-Ibrox manager will finally get to work alongside the talented Scot at the City Ground instead.

Cummings has netted 47 goals in for the Leith-based club over the past two seasons – including 37 in the Scottish Championship.
And it is safe to say that Nottingham Forest fans are revelling in the prospect of signing such a hitman.

The Record goes on to report that Cummings would cost Nottingham Forest a cool £1 million, but if he can replicate the talismanic form he showed in Scotland then it could be an absolute bargain by Warburton.
The Reds survived relegation from the Championship last season by the skin of their teeth, the ex-Rangers boss will be determined to build a squad capable of challenging for perhaps a playoff spot next season.
