Ward left Nottingham Forest to join Charlton Athletic on loan last month.

Jamie Ward’s comments after leaving Nottingham Forest have provoked a strong reaction from some Reds fans on Twitter. Ward joined Charlton Athletic on loan last month, but could find himself back at Forest in the January transfer window – when his temporary deal is due to expire.
Nevertheless, the veteran winger decided not to mince his words when interviewed by the South London Press this week – where he described his time in the Aitor Karanka’s so-called ‘bomb squad’ as “horrific”, claimed other clubs would have treated him better and suggested the Reds would “love” the chance to fine him, before reaffirming his affection for Nottingham Forest’s rivals Derby County.
This is what fans of Ward’s parent club are saying about the on-loan Charlton player…
Christian Brown @Chris78901: Oh f*** off. Ward was never fit to wear the shirt from day one – can’t beat a man or cross a ball and a walking yellow card. The fact he’s been with us for so long is a joke #NFFC
Kris Haynes@krishaynes83: P**** anyway. Strange choice when we signed him.
Stefan Jajecznyk @sjajecznykMEN: He forgets to mention that he was w*** #nffc
Scott Cresswell @ScottCresswell: Don’t forget the part about being s***, Jamie. Not that you’re bitter at all..
Not all Nottingham Forest supporters are quite so scathing, however.
Ward is in the fourth and final year of his deal at Nottingham Forest, for whom he has scored or assisted 14 goals in 62 games.
