Nottingham Forest supporters have shown little sympathy towards Derby County.

Gary Rowett manager of Derby looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Derby County and Wolverhampton at iPro Stadium on August 12, 2017 in Derby, England.

Nottingham Forest fans appear to be taking joy in Derby County’s current demise, with Gary Rowett seemingly set to depart.

According to BBC Sport, Rowett could be about to depart Derby to join Stoke City this summer.

It follows reports that Derby could be forced to sell many of their key players, to cut costs.

And Forest supporters do not appear to have much sympathy with their local rivals.

Forest will be looking to catch Derby next season, after finishing below them this term.

Derby made it to the play offs, but ultimately came up short in their quest for promotion.

Forest, meanwhile, had a disappointing campaign, but have shown signs of promise since Aitor Karanka took charge.

The Reds are expected to invest in the summer, and the hope for Forest supporters is that the new additions could turn them into promotion contenders next campaign.
