The 23-year-old came in for a bit of criticism from Nottingham Forest fans.

Lee Tomlin scored an 85th-minute equaliser as Nottingham Forest held Reading to a 1-1 draw at The City Ground last night.
Nottingham Forest looked on course for a fourth defeat in five Championship games as Omar Richards fired the visitors ahead on 35 minutes.
But the 29-year-old salvaged a point for the Reds in a draw that means Aitor Karanka’s side are eight points above the relegation zone.

There were a number of players in red who simply didn’t do enough for their side, but Forest fans have focused on one man in particular: Ben Osborn.
The 23-year-old, playing as a makeshift left-back, didn’t have the best of nights and endured quite a few hairy moments – inclduing one suicidal Cruyff turn deep in his own half which almost cost the hosts – and some supporters singled him out for criticism.

It wasn’t a disastrous result for Forest, but it wasn’t a great one either and their season seems to be at risk of petering out.
Eight points clear of the drop zone, Karanka’s side should stave off the threat of relegation from now until May, but a few more victories are needed to fully eradicate that threat.
