Barnsley have signed former Nottingham Forest defender Dani Pinillos from Cordoba.

Barnsley today announced the signing of defender Dani Pinillos on a two-and-a-half year contract from Cordoba.
The 25-year-old left Nottingham Forest on a free transfer at the end of last season to rejoin Cordoba, but has quickly made his way back to the Championship.
Pinillos made 35 appearances in two seasons at Forest and made himself a crowd favourite with a stoppage-time equaliser against fierce rivals Derby County.

Since letting him go last summer, left-back has been a problem position for Forest, with Danny Fox often injured and Armand Traore struggling for consistency.
The majority of Tricky Trees fans on Twitter are frustrated that the club left Pinillos slip through their fingers and feel that their loss is definitely Barnsley’s gain.
Pinillos is in line to return to the City Ground on April 2 when the Tykes visit Nottingham, and will hope by then to have helped 19th-place Barnsley climb away from relegation trouble.
