Aston Villa reportedly want to raid Championship rivals Nottingham Forest with a £12m bid for Joe Lolley.

Joe Lolley is a boyhood Aston Villa fanatic so even the most ardent Nottingham Forest fan would probably understand if he was tempted by a move to the Midlands at the end of the season.
According to The Sun, Villa are preparing for the chance that Jack Grealish finally bids farewell in the summer with promotion looking increasingly unlikely. And it is understood that Dean Smith’s side are willing to pay £12 million for Lolley, whose speed and ability to produce something out of nothing could make him the ideal replacement.
Lolley has been arguably Forest’s star man in what has been an inconsistent season, scoring eight goals and setting up seven more. His performance against Villa earlier in the season, during which he produced four assists and thumped one into the net himself from 30 yards, will live long in the memory.

So how have Forest fans reacted on Twitter to suggestions that Lolley could be on the move?
Well, many are demanding £20 million at the very least – while others are suggesting that Lolley could do far better than a side currently ninth in the Championship table.
