The 23-year-old American winger has joined Motherwell on loan for the rest of the season. Here is what some Forest fans made of the move.

Scottish Premiership club Motherwell have announced that Nottingham Forest winger Gboly Ariyibi will spend the remainder of the 2018-19 season on loan at Fir Park.
The former United States youth international joined the City Ground outfit in January 2017 by then caretaker manager Gary Brazil following the players’ departure from Chesterfield.
To this day, however, Ariyibi has not made a single senior appearance for the Reds, according to his playing history on Transfermarkt, and previously spent time on loan at MK Dons and Northampton Town.
Interestingly, despite the deal being confirmed by Motherwell on January 7, there appears to be no statement, or indeed a mention of Ariyibi’s departure by Forest on their Twitter feed, as of January 9.
A number of observant Reds fans noticed the news online nonetheless, and some expressed their thoughts on the 23-year-old’s latest switch away from the East Midlands:
Ariyibi follows his former Leeds teammate Ross McCormack in joining the Scottish Premiership side for the remainder of the current campaign.
The American also played for Southampton’s Under-18s and had a loan spell at Tranmere Rovers whilst at Elland Road, according to Transfermarkt.
