Last season’s Nottingham Forest loanee signs with Norwich City.
Norwich City announced this morning that they have signed Benfica striker Nelson Oliveira on a four-year deal.
The striker has represented Portugal at international level and has experience playing in England with both Swansea City and Nottingham Forest, both on loan agreements.

He filled in last season admirably for the injured Britt Assombalonga at the City Ground, finishing as their top scorer with eight Championship goals, even if his tally was hardly prolific.
Oliveira is likely to be a useful signing for the promotion chasing Canaries, as they look to bounce back instantly to the Premier League.

Forest themselves could perhaps still have done with him, and had money to spend after selling Oliver Burke to Red Bull Leipzig for £13 million.
Oliveira would have been an improvement on Forest’s current options behind Assombalonga, but there is still time for them to add reinforcements before the transfer deadline window closes.
