Nottingham Forest are said to be considering making a move for Peterborough United’s Marcus Maddison.
According to The Sunday People (print edition, page 51, April 8, 2018), Nottingham Forest want Peterborough United winger Marcus Maddison in the summer.
Maddison is said to have a £2 million release clause built into his contract, if Posh do not earn promotion this season.
Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony has suggested that the actual fee Posh would get for Maddison would be higher.
But Forest are said to be interested in paying up for the 24-year-old, who has starred at League One level this season.
Maddison has been Posh’s main creative influence influence this campaign, and currently has racked up 23 assists.

Posh look like an outside shot to make the play offs now, following their defeat to Plymouth Argyle last weekend, with Maddison almost certain to depart if Steve Evans’ side don’t go up.
And Forest fans are hoping that Maddison does move to the City Ground, as they feel he could be a good addition to Aitor Karanka’s squad.
