Nottingham Forest traded Jamie Ward for Lee Tomlin with Cardiff City.

Nottingham Forest fans cannot believe they have managed to pull off a swap deal with Cardiff City for Lee Tomlin.
Forest traded Jamie Ward for Tomlin with Cardiff, with the attacking pair swapping clubs on loan.
And Forest fans believe that they have got the better of the deal, by bringing Tomlin to the City Ground.
Ward has barely featured for Forest this season, so he should not be a big miss for Aitor Karanka’s side.
Tomlin could transform Forest’s attack, though, given his natural ability.
The 29-year-old has not fitted in at Cardiff, but he has previously been a stand out talent at Championship level.

When focused, Tomlin is one of the most dangerous attackers outside the Premier League, and he should add a huge amount of creativity to Forest’s forward line.
Tomlin was one of a number of signings which Forest made on deadline day, with Karanka making some big improvements to his squad at the City Ground.
Forest are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage.
