The former Arsenal star disappointed supporters on Saturday afternoon.

Russell Slade earned his first win as Cardiff boss on Saturday, when his side beat Nottingham Forest 2-1 in Wales.

The result ended the visitors’ unbeaten run and left supporters asking questions…

And the main question seemed to be just why Henri Lansbury was in the side against Cardiff.

The former Arsenal man recently signed a new deal at the City Ground but some fans believe he hasn’t been the same player since. He picked up a booking in Wales, meaning he is suspended for his side’s next Championship clash.

After the game, Forest boss Stuart Pearce told reporters:

“On the day we were not good enough, from 1 to 11 and I am disappointed. I am disappointed for the players, because they have not done themselves credit.

“The fighting spirit was there in the final five minutes, but over 90 minutes we were disappointed. We are disappointed to have been beaten in the game because I felt that, had we been able to up our tempo a little bit, we might even have won it, never mind just have got ourselves back into it.

“We have to learn by this, we have to show the quality and desire that we have previously this season.”

And, according to the fans, Lansbury in particular didn’t do himself any justice…
