According to The Telegraph, Forest are interested in signing Dean from Championship rivals Brentford in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that the Reds are weighing up a £1.5 million move for the 26-year-old central defender.

Dean has been on the books of Brentford on a permanent contract since 2012 following a loan spell from Southampton.
The centre-back’s current contract with the Bees runs until June 2018, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
