Nottingham Forest have managed to loan Kieran Dowell from Everton until the end of the season.
Nottingham Forest fans have criticised Everton loanee Kieran Dowell for his performance against Reading last night.
Forest managed to claim a 1-1 draw against the Royals, but Dowell failed to impress.
The youngster was selected to start in the contest, but was replaced just after the hour mark, with Aitor Karanka’s side 1-0 down.
With Dowell off the pitch, Forest managed to score an equaliser through Lee Tomlin.
And Forest fans have called for the Everton prospect to be dropped now.
Dowell had been a key player for Forest in the early stages of his loan spell, and Everton fans were even calling for him to return to Goodison Park.
However, the attacking midfielder just has not been able to maintain his performance levels throughout the whole of the season.
Forest’s next match comes against Queens Park Rangers at the weekend, and it will be interesting to see whether Karanka keeps faith in Dowell.
