Derby County are now said to be ahead of Nottingham Forest in the race to sign Jack Marriott.

Nottingham Forest fans are not concerned that Derby County are reportedly rivalling them for Jack Marriott.
Forest have been strongly linked with Marriott throughout the summer transfer window so far, with the Reds said to be keen on the Peterborough United striker.
Forest fans are not panicking though, as they feel Fry is simply using Derby to try and pressure them into a bid.
Marriott is currently one of the most in-demand players in the Football League, but is said to favour a move to Forest.
Peterborough want £6.5 million for the striker, who scored 33 goals for them last season.

Forest have proven that they have money to spend this summer, with Joao Carvalho on his way to the City Ground in a big money move from Benfica.
Derby, on the other hand, are thought to have to sell before buying this summer, with Frank Lampard’s side having to cut costs.
