Forest had been behind for a large portion of the match, but Vaughan’s patience and threatening passing, paid dividends as he helped his side nick a late equaliser through Liam Trotter.
It was an important point for the Reds, but it still hasn’t enabled them to stop their run of six matches without a victory.
Despite the side’s poor form, Forest fans have still been impressed by Vaughan – who has arguably been their best player so far this season.
The experienced central-midfielder actually struggled for games when Dougie Freedman first took over, but he is thriving now.
Vaughan’s incisive and composure in possession makes him a key figure in Forest’s starting line-up, and he is starting to earn a lot of plaudits for his performances.
