Nottingham Forest continued their inconsistent form in the Championship as they lost 2-0 against Cardiff City.
Ben Osborn
Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting on Twitter after watching Ben Osborn’s performance in Mark Warburton’s side’s defeat to Cardiff City on Sunday, and while some were defending the midfielder, the majority of the reaction seemed to be very negative.
Forest have enjoyed or endured a quite extraordinary start to the Championship season, winning nine and losing 10 of their opening 19 games in the league.
Mark Warburton
Their 10th defeat came in their clash with the Bluebirds at the City Ground on Sunday, with Neil Warnock’s men scoring twice in the first-half in a game where Forest dominated possession.
Unfortunately for Warburton, his side failed to properly test the high-flyers, and Osborn was one of a number of players who failed to really make a positive impression on the game.

Several of the supporters took to social media to criticise the 23-year-old following the defeat, with many feeling that he should not actually be in the starting lineup – he has started 18 of their 19 league games, coming on as a substitute in the other.
However, there was also some support for Osborn, with some feeling that he had been unfairly criticised by some of the fans given that his effort can rarely be questioned.
Here is the best of the mixed reaction…
