Nottingham Forest fans have criticised Ben Brereton’s decision making against Norwich City last night.

The youngster had a number of chances to hit the back of the net, or set up a teammate, and he failed to take them.

Forest fans have now urged patience with Brereton, but there was some criticism of his display yesterday on social media website Twitter.

Brereton has been selected to lead the line regularly for Forest this term, but he has not scored as frequently as hoped.

While the youngster has shown flashes of quality, he still appears to be developing, which is understandable given his age.

Brereton is still only 18, meaning he has time on his side.

Whether the prospect will be picked to start at the weekend, when Forest take on Derby County, remains to be seen.
