Nottingham Forest signed Barrie McKay from Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers earlier this summer.
Nottingham Forest fans have been impressed with Barrie McKay, after his first performance following his move from Glasgow Rangers earlier this summer.
Forest boss Mark Warburton gave McKay a chance to strut his stuff in a friendly match against Notts County last night.
And the ex-Rangers winger’s performance in the contest at the County Ground impressed.
More than 6,000 Forest fans were in attendance at the friendly match, which Forest won 2-0 against their city rivals last night.
Forest scored their goals through Ben Brereton and Apostolos Vellios, but McKay also earned a lot of credit for his performance.
McKay was picked to start for the Reds, following his move from Ibrox, and he looked lively whenever he was in possession.
Warburton worked with McKay at Ibrox, during his time managing Rangers, and he knows the attacker’s talents well.
Forest also handed a chances to new signing Jason Cummings and trialist Andreas Bouchalakis during the contest.
